Cyber vigilance

Don’t let cyberattacks derail your business. Our proactive protection keeps you on track

What if… your business faced a cyber attack today?

(Would you be prepared, or would you be picking up the pieces? We make sure you never have to find out the hard way.)

What if… you were hit by ransomware right now?

(Would you pay the ransom, or would your backups save the day? We make sure you never have to choose.)

What if… a cyber criminal had access to your emails?

(Would you even know? We help businesses detect, prevent, and recover from email breaches before they spiral.)

What if… your team was the reason for a security breach?

(Harsh but true, human error causes 95% of cyber attacks. The good news? We help train your team to spot threats before they happen.)

What if… a hacker locked you out of your own business?

(Would you have a way back in? With the right security measures, you’re always in control, hackers aren’t.)

Still have questions?

How can we stop our business from being hacked?

No one, not us or anyone else, can promise 100% protection against cyber threats. But what we can do is make it as hard as possible for cyber criminals to succeed.

At Cloud & More, we take a proactive, multi-layered approach to cyber security, reducing risks and strengthening your business against threats, both known and emerging.

We don’t just react to cyber threats, we stay ahead of them, constantly evolving our approach to keep your business safe.

Yes! Small businesses are often seen as easier targets because they may have fewer cyber security defences in place. Don’t be fooled – cyber criminals don’t discriminate.

Cyber-attacks come in all shapes and sizes, but here are a few of the usual suspects:

  • Phishing – The classic. An email or message that looks legit but is really trying to trick you into clicking a dodgy link or handing over sensitive info.
  • Ransomware – A nasty one. Hackers lock your files and demand payment to give them back.
  • Malware – A general term for malicious software (spyware, viruses, etc.) designed to cause chaos or steal data.
  • Man-in-the-middle attacks – When cyber criminals intercept data between you and someone you’re communicating with. Think digital eavesdropping.
  • Brute force attacks – Automated tools try to guess passwords over and over until they get in. (If your password is still ‘admin123’… we need to talk.)
  • Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks – Flooding a system or website with traffic to knock it offline. Just because they can.

The good news? These can all be defended against with the right tools, training, and support. And that’s where we come in.

Think of antivirus software as a guard dog sniffing out threats within your computer, while a firewall is like a security guard at your front door, controlling who and what can come in and out. Both are essential for a well-rounded defence.

EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) is like having a security camera system in your computer. It constantly monitors for suspicious activity and can automatically respond to threats, often before they cause any damage. Antivirus is like a guard dog, while EDR is more like a high-tech security system.

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme that certifies your business has basic cybersecurity measures in place. It’s a great starting point and can often help lower your cyber insurance premiums. Find out more here

Start with the devices (laptop, phone, PC, tablets): strong passwords, up-to-date software, regular backups and education your team. We can help you prioritise your investments based on your specific risks

Don’t panic! Take photographic evidence. Isolate the affected systems, change passwords, and contact us immediately. We can help you investigate the attack and take steps to recover and prevent future breaches.

Cloud services can be very secure, often more so than on-site systems. However, it’s important to choose a reputable provider and implement appropriate security measures. We can help you navigate the cloud securely.
